Countrywide Properties grew from a New Zealand-wide partnership between two visionary entities, Clearwater Construction and Countrywide Group, both born from a deep commitment to revitalising communities and united in their strengths.
Our story begins in the resilient city of Christchurch, where the spirit of rebirth prevailed after the devastating earthquakes of 2011. It was there that we took our first steps, playing a significant role in the city’s rebuild. Along the iconic Victoria Street, we crafted innovative and contemporary commercial projects that stood as symbols of resilience and progress. These projects were the seeds that would later grow into a vast network of development.
Subsequently, the burgeoning residential apartment market in Auckland emerged as a key focal point for Clearwater. Negotiating the challenges of a highly competitive environment necessitated meticulous management, leading to the establishment of Countrywide Residences as the North Island subsidiary to Clearwater. Since 2017, we have continued to transform, and venture beyond the boundaries of residential apartments to
subdivisions and industrial land. This expansion prompted a change in our identity, and we proudly embraced the name Countrywide Properties. It symbolises our ever-expanding portfolio and our vision for the future.
Our journey has been guided by a simple yet powerful philosophy – to create spaces that inspire and endure. By managing development and construction processes in-house and collaborating with trusted partners, we’ve built a rich tapestry of projects across New Zealand. Each project tells a unique story, a story of innovation, quality, and the relentless pursuit of excellence.
